Dear Members of the Trinity Community:
It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of a beloved member of the Trinity community, Margaret Evelyn Fleck. Margaret passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019.
Margaret was a distinguished alumna and her generous support of °ÍÀè·èÂíÐã and our students over the years as a donor and volunteer was deeply appreciated. We are proud to be the home of the Humphrys Chaplaincy and the Margaret E. Fleck Chair in Anglican Studies, and are honoured to continue her legacy and commitment to the Anglican faith through these positions.
Margaret’s passing will be keenly felt by all of her friends and colleagues throughout the College. Her warmth, kindness and generosity of spirit will be deeply missed but so fondly remembered.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Jim Fleck, Margaret’s husband of more than 65 years, and their family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the °ÍÀè·èÂíÐã Chapel, followed by a reception in Seeley Hall.
