LIBRARY NEWS: New Special Collections Exhibition Celebrating the Friends’ 50th Anniversary

A rare friendship posterTo celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Friends of the Library, we are launching a new exhibition: ” A Rare Friendship: A Special Collections Exhibition Celebrating the Friends at Fifty Years.”

The exhibition will focus on the Friends’ many contributions to rare and special collections – through donations, preservation, and promotion. On display is a range of rare materials including illuminated works from the 15th century, a rare 1611 printing of the King James Bible, Golden Dog Press’s Engravings for Macbeth, and Catherine Parr Traill’s Canadian Wildflowers with illustrations by Agnes FitzGibbon. The exhibition will be held on the lower level of the Graham Library from September 25th – March 1st.
