°ÍÀè·èÂíÐã awards Honorary Degrees and Honorary Fellowships to recognize individuals whose achievements, service, and character reflect the College’s mission and bring distinction to our community.
Honorary Degrees—including the Doctor of Divinity (D.D. honoris causa) and Doctor of Sacred Letters (D.S.Litt. honoris causa)—are conferred at Convocation to honour exceptional contributions to fields such as theology, scholarship, public service, the arts, global engagement, and humanitarian leadership.
Honorary Fellowships are non‑degree distinctions granted to individuals whose ongoing work aligns closely with Trinity’s values and who are expected to enrich the academic and communal life of the College. Honorary Fellows join Convocation and enjoy certain College privileges.
Each year, the Committee on Honorary Degrees and Honorary Fellows issues a call for nominations to the Trinity community.
