The Faculty of Divinity offers a wide range of courses in online formats every academic term (see current offerings here). These online offerings provide students with flexible learning options while still fully counting toward the requirements of their registered degree program.
In addition to individual online courses, the Master of Divinity (MDiv) program may be pursued in a hybrid format. This option allows students to complete up to 66% of their coursework online, combining the flexibility of distance learning with the benefits of in-person engagement.
Students enrolled in the hybrid MDiv program also have the opportunity to complete their field education placements outside of the Greater Toronto Area. Throughout their placements, they remain under the guidance and supervision of professors at Trinity who will support their professional and vocational development, helping them integrate academic learning with practical ministry experience through structured reflection and mentorship.
